Daily shedding alone cannot predict future hair loss. This is a visual experiment with assumptions you can change. A simple assumption of the same conditions each day, not a forecast of personal hair loss.

Shedding − replacement = difference. Total shedding does not equal a permanent reduction in coverage.
Public sources and how this works
The AAD describes shedding 50–100 hairs a day as common and distinguishes shedding from hair loss. Alopecia areata may cause round patches and hair may regrow; it does not have one fixed, linear course.
Days use a 365-day year. For non-patch patterns, daily shedding × days minus assumed replacement is mapped onto an authored 3D appearance range. This mapping is not measured scalp area, density or a prediction formula from clinical research. The 24-month patch stories are also user-selected examples, not treatment effects or natural recovery deadlines.
