FOREHEAD, BROWS & TEMPLES · ILLUSTRATED 3D RECOVERY
Eyebrow Cosmetic Tattoo: before & after and recovery stages
Compare stronger early brow pigment, fine surface shedding and a softer retained-color example.

SUMMARY
What this example shows
An illustrative pigment layer follows the selected face’s existing brow arch. Initially stronger color and a local red response give way to fine crusting/flaking and softer retained pigment. Native hairs and brow height stay fixed. This surface-color example does not simulate hair growth, select a tattoo method or ink, or predict retention, touch-ups or removal.
STAGE BY STAGE
Eyebrow Cosmetic Tattoo recovery stages
Before treatment
The unchanged display face provides a reference for this example.
First day: Stronger initial color
Pigment and local redness make the illustrated brows more pronounced.
Existing hairs remain. This adds skin color, not new hair or a brow lift.
Around 1 week: Fine surface shedding
Small crusts and flakes interrupt the early pigment layer.
The pattern and timing are illustrative; follow the treating provider’s aftercare.
Around 3 weeks: Softer visible pigment
The early surface texture has eased and lighter pigment remains.
A quieter surface does not measure pigment retention or determine touch-up timing.
Around 6 weeks: Later color comparison
The same brow outline retains an example pigment layer.
Further fading and repeat sessions vary. This endpoint does not promise complete fading or easy removal.

INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES
How recovery can vary
Timing and response
A generic brow-pigment example with the original hairs intact. Technique, pigment, skin and aftercare affect appearance. No specific microblading pattern, powder-brow method or treatment plan is selected.
Longer term
Pigment may fade over time and can be difficult to remove. The timeline does not predict years of retention, color shifts, a retouch date or removal results.
EVIDENCE NOTES
Sources and limitations
- Cleveland Clinic: Micropigmentation
Cosmetic pigment can enhance eyebrows. Early redness and crusting and later fading are described; pigment can be difficult to remove. No individual retention or ink choice is established.
- Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS: Medical tattooing and eyebrow aftercare
Includes eyebrow tattooing, initially stronger color, flaking and subsequent softer color. This mixed-site leaflet informs general stages, not an eyebrow-specific numerical curve.
