EYELIDS · ILLUSTRATED 3D RECOVERY
Eyelid Revision (Lowering a High Crease): before & after and recovery stages
Compare a high reference crease with a lower fold as the early revision response settles.

SUMMARY
What this example shows
A fixed fictional high crease is softened while a lower crease is defined. Early upper-lid swelling and closure marks settle separately; a faint trace of the old line remains. The eyelid margin and eyeball stay fixed, so this is not ptosis correction. Fold positions and fading are authored examples, not measured heights or a personal revision plan.
STAGE BY STAGE
Eyelid Revision (Lowering a High Crease) recovery stages
High reference crease
A fictional high fold provides the same starting reference at every stage.
This is an added reference condition, not a diagnosis of the selected face.
First few days: Lower closure and puffiness
A lower closed line and early stitches sit below a softened old crease, with temporary fullness and color.
Early appearance is illustrative. The example hides external stitches from day 7; actual closure and timing vary.
Around 1 month: Lower fold becoming clearer
Less fullness reveals the lower crease while a trace of the high line remains.
Scar color and tissue settling can continue after visible bruising eases.
Around 1 year: Lower crease with residual lines
The lower fold and faint traces remain after the illustrated early reaction.
The view does not promise complete scar erasure, permanent symmetry or a personal recovery date.
TIMELINE
Day-by-day checkpoints in the 3D model
The simulator interpolates between these authored checkpoints. They describe the illustration, not measured clinical averages.
A fictional high fold provides the same starting reference at every stage.
A lower closed incision accompanies temporary fullness; the old high fold is partly softened.
Upper-lid puffiness and color partly obscure the lower fold.
External stitches are hidden in this example; the incision and old crease trace remain.
Fullness eases while both the old trace and lower line remain visible.
Reduced swelling reveals a lower crease beneath the softened old line.
The lower fold remains while the closure line becomes less prominent.
Both a faint old crease and lower incision remain in this illustration.
A lower crease and residual old trace remain; this does not promise an erased scar or lasting symmetry.
INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES
How recovery can vary
Timing and response
Only high-crease lowering is illustrated. Eyelid-margin height, eyeballs and brows are held fixed; this does not reproduce ptosis correction, skin shortage, multiple folds or every revision technique.
Longer term
Existing native folds remain part of the display face. The added reference, lower crease and residual lines are fictional. Internal release, fixation, vision and individual scarring are not reconstructed.
